Mary Evelyn Pinkerton, 78, of Jackson passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her home.
She was born August 25, 1941 at Neely’s Landing, daughter of Carl J. and Ora Emma Bollinger Wallman. She and Elmer Eugene Pinkerton were married November 3, 1960; he survives.
Mary had worked 50 years as a house keeper taking care of private homes in Cape Girardeau County.
Loving survivors include her husband, Elmer Pinkerton of nearly 60 years of marriage; two daughters Miranda (Allen) Duvall of Piedmont, Missouri and Marsha Pinkerton of Neely’s Landing and one sister Melva Baker (special friend, Don Cathcart) of Oak Ridge.
Also surviving are four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Pinkerton; three brothers, Melvin, Carl and Paul Wallman and one brother - in - law Gary Baker.
A graveside service will be at 10:00am on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at High Hill Church of God Cemetery at Neely’s Landing, with Allen Duvall officiating.
The family will host a memorial service at 11:00am, on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the home of her sister, Melva in Oak Ridge.
