Mary Statler Obituary

Mary Ann Statler, 82, of Millersville passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born September 24,1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Elmer and Myrtle Hahs King.  She and Larry Statler were married on November 4, 1972.

Mary Ann was a 1959 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She then worked at International Shoe Company for 29 years and later worked at Southeast Hospital. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with her good friends. She was a member at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson.

Loving survivors include her husband Larry Statler of Millersville; daughter Carol Statler of Millersville; two brothers, Bill (Barbara) King and Mike (Mary) King both of Oak Ridge; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 9 -11am at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.

Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Emanuel United Church of Christ.
