Maxine Rose Nolte Obituary

Maxine Rose Nolte, age 97, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Monticello House in Jackson.

She was born September 25, 1924, in Jackson, daughter of Fred and Francis Milde Koch.  She and Ernest Martin Nolte were married April 14, 1944.  He passed away April 2, 1997.

Maxine was a graduate of Jackson High School. She loved to work in her yard, especially with her flowers, baking, and making Christmas ornaments.

Loving survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Panagos of Jackson; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Keisha) Panagos and Leah (Todd) Pobst; a sister, Ruth Brugger; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years; her parents; and a brother, Kenneth Koch.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson.
