Obituary

Naomi Lucille Whitlock, 73, of Chaffee, MO had her family with her when she passed away at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Naomi was born in Charleston, MO the daughter of the late Virgle and Marcella Simmons Wicker. She and Jack Whitlock united in marriage on January 16, 1970, he passed away on September 26, 2012.

Naomi enjoyed her 20 plus years at S&W Cabinets, she loved the people she worked with as much as she loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. When Jack was alive, they gardened together. They would sit back and watch their garden grow while they enjoyed a cold beer.

She is survived by two sons, Robert (Jewel) Whitlock and Paul Whitlock both of Chaffee, six grandchildren, Brendon, Ashleigh, Cody, Logan, Sam, and Brianna.

Also surviving are her sisters, Debbie Mowery, Kay Wicker and Judy DeMoro, and a stepbrother Jim Goodson along with 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Jack, a sister, a brother and twin sons Brad and Jeff.
