Paul A. Huffman

Paul A. Huffman Sr., 78, of Oak Ridge, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Paul was born January 2, 1945, in St. Louis, Mo., son of the late Paul and Ella Louise Chapman Huffman. He and Carla J. Stoudt were married on August 28, 1999. She preceded him in death October 15, 2022.

He owned and operated Paul's Auto Parts in Oak Ridge for over 50 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club in St. Genevieve. Paul was very charitable to those in need, hard working and above all he loved spending time with his family.

Paul is survived by his children, Paul A. Huffman Jr. of Alaska, Paula K. (Chuck) Reed of Blodgett, Mo, Edward Huffman of Oak Ridge, Renee (Tim) Dickerson of Chaffee, and Michelle Wahl of Chaffee; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Dale Woeltje Sr.; a son, Lonnie R. Huffman; and former wives, Janet Mae Crader and Lila Jackson.

Visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2023, from 11am to 1 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 8, 2023, at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev. John Casebolt officiating. Burial will follow in Caney Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
