Shirley A. (Allgaier) Friedrich

Shirley A. Friedrich, 97, of Jackson, passed away, Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Chateau Girardeau.
Shirley was born April 30, 1924, to August and Louisa Schultz Allgaier in Howard, South Dakota. She and George Friedrich were married August 12, 1946, in Littleton, Colorado. He preceded her in death February 17, 2008.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Shirley is survived by four children: Deborah (Clyde) Spurgeon of St. Louis, Missouri; Elizabeth (Dennis) Overy of Oak Ridge, Missouri; Robert (Jill) Dix of St. Louis; and Thadius Jiles of Wynn, Missouri; several grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Friedrich, two brothers, and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joshua Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson or Lutheran Family and Children's Service.
