Tuesday morning at 9:03, Nov. 3, 2020, Wendy Ellen Reinbolt, a loving wife and mother of seven children, passed away at age 53 at her home in Frohna.
Wendy was born July 3, 1967, in St. Louis to Ron and Arlyss Meyr Schmidt.
She grew up as a farm girl out in the country with her two siblings, Pamela and Brad.
Wendy met the love of her life, Mark Reinbolt, and married him on April 15, 1989, remaining blissfully married until her death.
She received a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from Rolla School of Mines in 1991, graduating as valedictorian of her class.
Wendy loved to write, garden and cook good food for her family.
She had a powerful calling in her life to God. She spent her life teaching her children and others, giving selflessly every day. Her joy, faith and unconditional love and dedication to her husband and family brought bottomless happiness to her family and all around her. She will be deeply missed.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Mark Reinbolt; seven children, Hannah, Tatianna, Micah, Josh, Jeremiah, Zephaniah and Aliyah; father, Ron Schmidt; mother, Arlyss Schmidt; brother, Brad Schmidt; and sister, Pamela Schmidt-Hanna.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Prophet Greg Burpee officiating.
Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Altenburg, Missouri.
